I thought I would update this site once a week, but I underestimated how much more friction editing HTML is compared to just posting a picture on instagram. I do like the feeling of creating something like this manually compared to the ease of oversharing that social media enables.
I ordered a Kodak Charmera as christmas present for myself that's supposed to be getting here this weekend. I think that added device will make me more interested in sharing photos and stories compared to these shots I'm capturing on my phone. I'm using the 0.3MP Camera App which gives me the look I'm going for. But without the tactile feeling of actually having an old flip phone or small digicam, it loses some of the nostalgia in actually pointing, shooting, and transfers photos to a computer. The Charmera is 1.6MP so it'll be clearer and hopefully get that perfect mid 00's look I'm trying to emulate.
